Great start to the school year

Forgive us for the lack of updates. We have been a bit busy relaunching our after school ministries at each center.

At the Baptist Community Center, we have restructured the program to reduce the potential for chaos and allow us to offer more effective ministry. Pat has made good connections with the local school’s administration and the program is starting to garner an excellent reputation in Southeast. We currently have a waiting list – once we are able to count on more volunteers we will be able to open up the program to a few more kids.

The after-school ministry at Baptist Friendship House is progressing slowly but surely. We are trying to reach out to the community and let them know we’re here. We are optimistic and pray that we will be able to meet our community’s needs.
