Ladies Bible Study Needs (Baptist Friendship House)
Baptist Friendship House hosts about 9 ladies twice a week for Bible Study and fellowship. They meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00-12:00, with lunch served at 11:00.
On Tuesdays, we play Bible bingo and Ginny Hardin leads a small Bible study. Thursday features a more in-depth Bible study and a meal.
Once a month we try to provide food bags for our ladies to take home. We also help them place orders for Angel Food boxes once a month, which allows them to get a box of restaurant quality food worth $60 for only $30. One box will feed a family of four for a week. However, some of the ladies cannot even afford an Angel Food box. (Learn more about Angel Food Ministries)
Thus, we have several needs:
- Donations of food – pasta, canned goods, easy-to-make meals, etc.
- Sponsorship of an Angel Food box. $30 a month will greatly help out the ladies that cannot afford to buy a box.
- 4th Thursday of the month: We need a team to lead the Bible study and prepare and serve a meal.
These ladies are so sweet and need to know that they are loved. Please prayerfully consider how you might be able to make an impact with your “needy neighbor in your land” (Deuteronomy 15:11).
