November Needs
The mission centers are staying busy this fall. Below are some of our needs for the next few weeks. Please check www.rvba.org/bmc for more needs as they come.
Baptist Community Center needs:
* 2 or 3 hot water carafes or large thermas.
* Big Art Tablets.
* Model Cars/Planes for children all ages.
* Hot glue sticks (big and little).
* Fabric Paints all colors…white needed the most (need by December 1, 2009).
* Weekend snack bags (please call Pat Carter at 342-8452for more information).
* Graham crackers, gumdrops, peppermint candies, candy canes, cans of white icing, licorice sticks, red hots, any kind of hard candies, peppermint patties, etc. Children at the BCC will be making Gingerbread houses. (need by November 16, 2009).
* New or slightly used items for the Children’s Christmas Store (need by December 10, 2009).
* 10 bags of holiday Hershey kisses (need by December 10, 2009).
* Individual packets of Hot Chocolate (need by December 10, 2009)
* Bibles for Children
* Box of Copy Paper
* Construction Paper
* One skinny Christmas tree (4-5 feet)
Baptist Friendship House needs
* Household necessities such as toilet paper, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc.
* Non-perishable food
* Gently used clothes
* $25 gift cards to grocery stores to include in Christmas baskets
* Small, “fun” items we can use for Bingo prizes
As always, we can use volunteers and lots of prayer!
