Summer preparations are under way
Pat and I have been busy nailing down this summer’s calendar for the children at Baptist Community Center. We are excited to host teams coming in from Mechanicsville, Berryville, Bruington, and Wise, Va. Some of the teams will lead Vacation Bible Schools while others are helping with some construction needs.
We also have a couple of local groups that will help out during the summer as well. Those details are not fully worked out, but we are excited about the support from our local association.
Later this week will post up a schedule along with opportunities to serve.
Please call me at 342-8452 (preferably before 2pm) before purchasing or bringing requested items as that need may be filled. I still need some of those big gallon size black pots trees and big shrubbery come in. I have plenty of dirt now. I need a variety of magazines for on going craft projects. We are trying to make sure all children that come to the center know how to swim so if you can help me transport and stay for the hour that will be a big help I have at least 5 sponsorships of $20 each and could use about 4 more.(classes are in the evening) I greatly appreciate everyone who has answered the Great Commission and I wish you all could see the results of the things you do.
