STANDING ROCK 2010 MISSION TRIP
Wednesday, July 28, 2010 Report by Bob Hetherington
Our teams at the five sites are working with an approximate total of 500 persons from the various communities. We expect to see this number grow tomorrow and again Friday. We thank the Lord for the opportunity to serve each individual. At most sites we have a good distribution of adults, youth and children. Harold Cook and I visit each site each day (200 mile round trip).

WMUV Standing Rock Virtual Prayer Walk
During the last two weeks of July, WMUV, in partnership with the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association, will be taking more than 300 volunteers to the Standing Rock Reservation in the Dakotas.
These Native Americans deal with unemployment, poverty, alcoholism and domestic violence on a daily basis. We covet your prayers as we minister alongside our native American friends to bring the hope and love of Christ to 7 communities.
We’ve created a virtual prayer walk so you can learn more about and pray for the specific needs on the reservation.
