Ivey Adams currently lives in Salem after retiring from active ministry. He is a graduate of Troy State and Southwestern Seminary. Ray Allen is a native Virginian, educated at the University of Richmond (B.A. & D.D.), Southern (M.Div.) and Southeastern Seminary (D.Min.). Richard B. Brown was born in the Valley. He is a graduate of Averett College and Southern Seminary. He is currently serving as chaplain for a local hospital, but would be available for supply in local churches. His phone number is 540-977-1718.

John Cochran recently retired as Minister of Education at First, Roanoke after serving there for 30 years. John is a graduate of Carson-Newman and Southwestern. He has been active in Baptist work in our Valley as well as in the SBC. His phone number is 540-977-4406.

Carl A. Collins, Jr. is a native Virginian educated at the University of Richmond, Lynchburg College and Southwestern Baptist Seminary. Tom Cribb has served churches in Virginia, NC and SC. He has pastored several churches in the Roanoke Valley. He has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southern Seminary. He is a certified Church Consultant and is currently starting his second Church Consult in our area. In addition, Tom has completed the Transitional Pastor Training and is on track to be certified as an Intentional Interim Pastor in September of 2008. John Sylvester-Johnson was raised in Calvary Baptist, Birmingham and educated at Samford University and Southern Baptist Seminary. Currently a member of Grandin Court, he pastored in Alabama, Macao, Kentucky, New Jersey, and New York and has taught at several colleges. He is trained as an Intention Interim and has served as an interim at several local Valley churches. B. Conrad Johnston graduated from both Southwestern Baptist Seminary and Southeastern Baptist Seminary with a D.Min. He pastored at Salem Baptist for over 20 years.
